General Comments

We arrived at The Sandpiper, to find a damp musty room awaited us. We complained, and were kindly moved to a suite, and were told to make up the difference, a BIG difference pound wise. After lengthy negotiations the management agreed to us staying in this room for no extra charge.
We found the staff, coping with a large party, gradually lost interest over the two weeks. We waited and waited and waited for orders to be taken, some evening meals taking 3 hours.
Disappointing.
We took advantage of reciprocal meals arrangement in other hotels, which made our visit more interesting.
Otherwise the hotel was spot on. Would go back.
