You will be bankrupted if you borrow money from MBNA.


General Comments

MBNA keep sending me blank cheques to let me borrow up to $50,000.00 with no interest for a year. I did it. When I received the first statement, I already passed the due date. When I called them, I was told my promotional 0% interest was gone already. After I spent hours trying to calling them and explaining to them, they charged me about $200.00 and put the 0% interest back on. After that I set the automatic payment to them, every time, they received the money in less than two days and always on time. Suddenly, in one month, they had removed the due date two days earlier, and they didn't receive my money until six days later. I was removed from having the 0% interest and charged about $600.00 dollars. When I called them regarding paying the money off, I was told there was an additional interest accrued which was not showing on the bill yet. I borrowed their $40,000.00 in 3 months, I paid interest plus other fees totalling about $1200.00.

MBNA bank is setting a trap for customers to fall in. NEVER borrow money from MBNA bank.
