Good Points

Looks great, handles great, very few problems other then wear and tear.


Bad Points

Seriously under powered for its weight should be a 400cc to match its weight of 147Kg Dry weight.


General Comments

I purchased the Honda Varadero as an insurance replacement following a recent accident in April 05, since then I have not regretted the purchase, it has carried to me to work everyday without so much as a blink, very reliable and decent preformance considering the power to weight ratio.

The bike will carry me to 78Mph before she hits the rev limiter, but hell it can move very well from the red light, reaching 50mph in not time at all.

The V-Twin engine is definitely the best feature as it delivers plenty of low end torque and it will pull up any hill you will find on the road and many you will find off the road too.

I have ridden this bike both on road and off road without a hitch, this bikes seems to love all terrain, she will easily carry you through the rough and bumpy without complaining. Get a spare set of wheels fitted with nobblies and the off road riding becomes even more fun.

I recommend this machine to anyone looking to purchase there first bike or even a comuting bike, you wont be disappointed with it.
