General Comments
Best engine you can get in a small car and very reliable, mines done over 70,000 miles and still runs like new! comfortable inside and looks pretty good on the outside to for its age.

When I first test drove the Ford Fiesta Mk4 1.25 Zetec there were lots of small electrical problems such as the central locking was a bit iffy (worked about 30% of the time) heated windscreen did not work or the back wiper or boot release. Also the rear suspension made an awful crunching noise everytime time you went over the slightest bump, but the dealer sorted these out for the same price.

Now after having the car 3 months the performance is great and will beat anything of the lights up to a 1.4 or even some heavy 1.6 engines. But the central locking can still be a pain.
