Beautiful leather, extremely light-weight bags, variety of styles within the "motorcycle" range, and the limited-edition colors keep you wanting more.
Bad Points
The overwhelming number of fakes makes it hard to find the real thing.
General Comments
Balenciaga are fantastic bags. They may only be hot for another couple of years, but real fans will remain loyal because they're such a pleasure to use, and every season brings gorgeous new colors. The problem is there are so many fakes, and it's hard for people to educate themselves about what to look for. If you want an authentic bag call Balenciaga Paris or NY, Barneys NY, Neiman Marcus, or Harvey Nicks, or email aloharag.com or brownsfashion.com. If you don't mind having a replica, go to iOffer.com and get one cheap. Whatever you do, DO NOT pay $500-$800 to an unauthorized site - you won't be saving money, you'll be overpaying for a fake.
