An athiest is being persued by a bear through the woods. He shouts out, 'God, please help me. Dont let the bear eat me!'

Time freezes around him, the bear stops mid roar, the clouds part and god appears in the sky.

'Why should I help you? You dont believe in me.' says God.

'Please help me, do one thing for me and I'll believe in you' replies the atheist desperately.

'Ok', says God, 'what is it?'.

'Please make the bear a Christian!' replies the athiest.

'Righto' says God. The clouds resume business and time begins again. The bear is almost upon the atheist when he stops, stands up, puts his paws together and says 'Lord, for what I am about to receive...'
