We spent one week in September in the Polis/ Latchi area with some friends at the Alkyon Villas - we stayed in a 3 bedroom villa (ensuite bathrooms in each bedroom) with a private swimming pool and very good self-catering facilities at very good value for money (if you ask me, they should charge more - we paid £100 per night between 3 couples!). Our villa was only about 100 metres from the sea and within a few minutes walk to Latchi fishing harbour and marina. Alkyon Villas is set right near the Akamas Wildlife reserve and peninsula which made it brilliant for hiking. We went on 3 different trails while we were out there and the views were amazing. We rented a car and visited some of the surrounding villages like Neo Chorio - the tavernas there make good meze! A couple of nights we just went walked to the harbour area and ate fresh fish and drank wine next to the sea. It might sound cheesy but it really was a magical holiday. Recommend it to anyone.
