General Comments

A Place in The Sun is a very informative progam that helps people wanting to buy property abroad. An expert finds properties in the area the contestants want to live in, and within their budget. Most of the people starring in the shows do go on to buy one of the recommended properties, and then a follow-up program is usually made about 12 months later to see how they have settled in etc...

The program covers everything from the pitfalls, local laws and building regulations, and all the legal implications involved in international property purchase.

I love the program, and it is a great starting point for anyone who is thinking of buying abroad, although I think a lot more research would be needed before you took the plunge.
