Good facilities, multi domain hosting, free software

General Comments

I have been with One and One for about a year, at first it was an excellent service and could phone and get help as they state 24/7. I'm not sure what has changed but trying to hear a voice from the USA on a poor telephone connection did nothing to resolve problems. Email support takes many days to get any response if any.

I think most of the problem I encountered result from the three servers used on my account: mail server, database server and hosting server. if any of them fail you have problems in connections, especially if running databases.

Most servers seem to be based in Germany. I'm not sure what One and One have changed in the last year but it is for the worse and costs me money in lost sales due to connection problems. Plus asking for any refund due to lost time is non starter with them.

    I concur entirely except that they have given me a refund without arguing.

    I have to agree with you on this. I've been a One and One customer for about 3 years now with several domains hosted by them; They used to offer a great service and value. This Christmas I needed their technical help on what should have been a simple problem. I made five attempts to ring their 24/7 support. Each time I gave up after listening to their 60's music after 15 minutes. Of the 5 emails I also sent, I received a reply 9 days later, telling me if I wanted better support to ring their 24/7 support line.
    I cancelled the domain name in the end.
