Bomb Proof
Most commercial gyms will have at least one


Bad Points

UK Price! Item sells for under $1000, but somehow this converts to £939, a mega and unjustified uplift. Updated handle (from model C) is disliked by users.


General Comments

The Concept 2 Model D Rowing Machine is a good machine, but the First Degree Fluid Rower is better value. It also has a smoother action and a more comfortable seat. The display is not as good as the Concept (which can link to a PC to race others over the Web), but it is more than adequate. The Fluid Rower is also c£939, but is selling for same amount c$1600 in the US.
