Doesn't do the job, spews dust out


General Comments

The Hoover H3161 vacuum failed on us within a few weeks of receiving it as a present. Dust was being thrown everywhere around the room and the noise was deafening. An engineer had to replace the motor several times over the period of a year. After much wrangling we then got a replacement (Hurricane Extra 1700W) which 15 months later has just developed the same nasty noise and which is no doubt the motor failing again. Hurricane range has major design flaw. And the service group is a nightmare to deal with - admin shot to pieces.
