Good Points

Looks. MPG. Handling.

Bad Points

Reliability is suspect. Bodywork warps in sunshine. Not as perky as other scooters.

General Comments

I bought my Gilera ICE scooter from new (ish - it was in storage for 3 years), and have ridden it for a year now. I have had a few problems with it i.e. The bodywork will change shape in the heat, and it is not quite as fit or as nice as it used to be. Also the carb randomly started leaking, and since then performance has slowly decreased to a mere 46 if lucky. BUT! having said that, it handles brilliantly, is so easy to ride. It's small, but not too small (I'm 6ft 2 and I sit on it pretty nicely), also it's good for traffic filtering, and cheap to run, but I can't get some parts because apparently it's not being made anymore.
Overall, it's a nice bike, and I would recommend it to anyone who needs to get around town. Just keep away from the A roads.

You can buy parts from a main Gilera dealer, anything you want and for performance apartmens you can pick them up from ebay for quite cheap. I have an ICE myself but I have just done a whole engine one-off conversion from a runner and put a runner head unit on with bars...looks the business.
