General Comments

For the price, the Motorola V220 is a good phone (£64 pay as you go). The camera isn't brilliant by todays standards, but is ok for fun snapshots.

My biggest gripe is the WAP and MMS, which would not work until I configured the settings for these manually (found instructions on Vodafone website, (for V525). Tried these on my V220 and it worked).
I would suggest that this is a problem with the service provider, rather than the phone itself.

This phone is a vast improvement over my previous one (a basic Siemens A55), which cost about the same a couple of years ago.

Could you possibly instruct me as to how I can activate the mms and internet browser as I am having the same problem!

    Thank you so much.

To activate the MMS and Vodafone Live, I went on the Vodafone website, where there are step by step instructions for doing this (instructions for V525 work for V220).

This involves inputting values in to the phone using various menus. It takes quite a while, but it worked in the end.

    Hope this helps.
