Cheaper than normal Office, works fine, relatively easy to use.

Still quite expensive, no Access
General Comments
Office XP Standard for Students and Teachers offers exactly the same functionality in the programs that it has as the other editions. However, it does not have Access, which can be useful at times. A point to consider is that you can get OpenOffice 2.0 (free open source software) for free from openoffice.org. It is fully compatible with Microsoft Office and is a good product, Although possibly not as good as Office.

Office XP is just fantastic for students. At the moment im doing AS and when my Dad got this I found it was so much easier to use than the standard Microsoft Works 2000 and Office 95 which I had.
