Good Points

Great comfort, plenty of space, and good MPG.


Bad Points

Where to begin! Electrics and suspension give a lot of grief.


General Comments

I bought my C5 10 days ago. the test drive was uneventful, and its space and comfort seduced me. But, after we married.. my world fell apart, and all was not as it seemed.

To date the following have happened...

1) Car will not easily engage into reverse first thing in the morning (or if left for more than 6 hours).
2) Left trafficator ceased functioning, although hazard lights all work, and when locking/unlocking all trafficators flash.
3) Radio/CD will decide whether to come on or not.. not me!
4) Passenger window has now decided to play it's version of the Grand old Duke of York! It goes up down up, and then half way down, and then stops!
5) Suspension has a mind of its own, and goes up and down for no apparent reason.

It's such a shame as it could be a very good car. Perhaps the Germans will take them over!

    I have owned my Citroen C5 SX for nearly three years. In that time, I have had three turbo units replaced due to malfunction, the rear calipers locked on, leading to pads and discs needing to be replaced after only 4 months old. The car has been a nightmare!! I will never ever buy another citroen.
