The bow is dead on at 10 to 50 yards. You can't miss if you have the vari zone scope they sell with it. OH did I say it's FAST? 355FPS 350 grain bolts
NOT CHEAP. If I was to try and pull back a 225 lb draw bow, I would want to have some kind of help pulling 112.5 LB straight back with each hand.
The Excaliber Exomax is a TOP of the LINE crossbow, If you shop around you can get the price down to about $455.00. Get the rope cocking device, it cuts the pull in half. They say don't hunt with a crossbow at more than 35 yards! Who are they? Go shoot this bow for one day, after that you will know what they don't! This kind of speed can add 15 yards. I can now take my shot up to 50 yards to get my game. I have 3 older Barnett bows and they don't stand close to what this one can do! A VERY FAST and HARD HITTING BOW. If you buy the best you can forget the rest.
