My complaint with Royal Bank of Scotland is at the most basic level. A Bank is there to pay in and withdraw money. I pay in at my local Halifax. If I get a cheque payable to my company I hate it as the staff at Halifax do not understand the system and make me feel I am a nuisance whenever I pay in. Today they refused to accept a cheque as they had changed the system again and I did not have the correct paperwork. I was told that I needed to speak to my business manager. When I told them I would close my account suddenly they were able to accept it.
I found myself today refusing a cheque payable to my company and asked for it to be payable to me as I have lost all confidence.
