Halo 2 has decent multiplayer maps, although sadly, I miss prisoner. The story mode is OK, but the flood levels are really corny. Halo 2 also has dual-wielding, which adds some well-needed strategy, instead of blow-the brains out.
Halo 2 is not quite as good as hoped. The flood levels, as I said earlier, are really corny and pretty pointless. To be honest, if you don't have Xbox Live, then wait until the price drops to $30.00.
The original Halo game was 10 times better. I still play Halo 1, so if you had a choice I'd recommend Halo 1. If you have Xbox Live then get Halo 2, because story mode is too easy. Like I said, if you have got to choose, get Halo 1. The guns are better, and the M6c Magnum has a scope and auto-fire. If only Bungie would make a Halo 1 with dual-wields...
