General Comments

I had the the Ford Transit 2.0 75ps tdi for 3 years, and apart from the power problem which I talked about in my 260 review, but the Ford Transit 125PS is the best! It has power like you can't believe. It's like driving a sports car from the nineties. Fill it up with gear in the back and go. It really does have power like you won't believe, and you'll lose your license if you don't keep your eyes peeled. Wow! What a van! The best is the fuel... I used to get 500 miles or there abouts from my 75ps 260 transit, and this thing returns 600 miles from the same fuel amount, and the same payload, but I can go quicker if I need to. A top van I'd say.

I have covered 5000 miles in 5 weeks, and not had a sniff of a problem. It's a pleasure to go to work in it, and the grin factor you get from the acceleration (well). I did go for the top of the range; The hallmark with all the toys... Air conditioning, electric mirrors and windows etc, but money well spent I'd say. I am in it 8 or 10 hours a day, so I wanted it to be right, and believe me it is. If you really want to take the pee with the power, you can upgrade it for about £249 to £299 for any tdi or tdci by getting yourself a tuning box from dragon@mrhoot.com who are the best on the market in my opinion.

I'll keep this site up to date every 4 or 5 weeks and tell you if anything develops. Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the review, I'm considering purchasing a 125BHP T280, do you have any ideas on insurance as most places I ring do not list the T280 SWB with a 125Bhp engine.

    Thanks.
