Expensive RRP, so look for it on special offer
Bit slow at greatest resolution


General Comments

The Logitech QuickCam Pro 4000 picture quality is very good, works well on MSN messenger. (I haven't used it with any other video software.)

The built in microphone is very sensitive - I can sit on a chair at the other side of the room and still continue a video conversation with a friend, can be heard without having to shout.

The software suite which comes with it allows you to record and compress video (with sound) and automatically send the file via email, this is a very useful feature.

As the connection is only USB 1.1, when recording sound and video on the highest resolution, the picture is a bit jaggedy, which is a shame, as this is the only negative point.
