General Comments

After a year of trouble free operation, just after the warranty ran out the Sony RDR GX3 unit started to go wrong. It won't read discs and comes up with C1300 Disc Dirty error all the time . The timer is malfunctioning and won't record, very annoying as I have missed some important programmes that I really needed to record.

As a Sony product very disappointing and obviously rushed out without proper testing to grab a piece of the fledgling DVD R market.

The best thing Sony can do is to acknowledge that there is a design fault and refund everyones money. I can't see that happening somehow.

KEEP AWAY AND DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!
