Beautiful resort on long sandy beach. Extremely clean everywhere. Nice room with safe and fridge included. Friendly staff and animation team. Large pool, lots of sunbeds, great variety of daytime activities, Canarian restaurant and Mandarin restaurant excellent, bars and snack bars well stocked.
Bad Points
Food quite repetitive. Very few Brits or other nationalities. Germans very unfriendly and stared with disapproval at those of us having fun, constantly looked us up and down, even when they knew we could see them doing that.
General Comments
Corralejo in Fuereventura is a beautiful resort, and is the cleanest we have ever seen. Everything about the Hotel Riu Oliva Beach is very impressive, and the staff and animation team all worked very hard. There were 2 professional acts during the week we were there, and the animation team put on some very good entertainment the other evening; bearing in mind they are not professionals.
No one wanted to speak to us, but the animation team, other Brits and nationalities other than Germans. We got lots of disapproving stares because we were having fun. It is a shame because this resort is ideal, but we would never go back.

What a refreshing change to go to a hotel and receive decent service. ALL staff were very friendly and made us truely feel valued as guests. The food and the cleanliness of the hotel were very good and the animation team worked hard to appeal to an audience of mixed nationalities. If being a little picky, the accommodation in the annexe section (mainly for families) was a little basic for the grade of hotel but adequate for us and always clean.
My reason for writing this review - as recognition to the staff for providing a first class service that resulted in us having a stress and trouble free holiday!
