General Comments
Jamie's Italy by Jamie Oliver is my favourite cookbook. If there's one thing that the Naked Chef and I have in common it's an appreciation of all things Italian.
I like this book because it takes the classic dishes from many of the Italian regions and then adds Jamie's touches of inspiration and magic. I'm not what you'd call a dab hand in the kitchen, but all these recipes are more than achievable for even the most novice of cooks and the ingredients are easy to come by too. Most importantly the suggestions from The Savior of School Dinners are all delicious!
The book itself is as you would expect: Easy to read, no-nonsense and well illustrated and designed. The real beauty of this book and indeed the recipes is the simplicity of it all.
Thanks for reading my review - I'm off to Slimming World to work off all those Italian calories!!!
