Safe in the wet, and on snow or ice they are very good.
Bad Points
After 40,000km they won't work as well on ice or snow, but they still do a nice job in the wet. I think it is good that you get 40,000km's out of them though.
General Comments
This is the second type of Pirelli tyre that I have used. First one is Pirelli P6000, after that these P400's. They are very useful on snow, and the best thing about these tyres is the safety element when driving in the wet.
