Good Points

Lovely TV excellent picture and sound


General Comments

After 3 years a fault developed with Philips TV not responding to the remote (changing channels, volume control etc). The fault was not with the remote but with the control chip. Over time the fault grew worse, the TV would switch itself on/off and now no longer works. The fix is £170 for a new chip.

    For anyone who has a problem with the painter chip on this Model TV contact Manchester Colour Engineering Services in Manchester, they will replace this chip on your board for £78.96 including 24 hour next day delivery rather than the expensive shop prices.
