Excellent customer service- they actually do what you ask them to, unlike Barclays. Sound ethical policy lets you sleep at night.
Not many branches, but the account is easily accessible over the net, phone & post office as well.
Co-op Privilege Bank Account is good for those that travel frequently as you get travel insurance provided year round. I got cheesed off with barclays ripping me off, and making me feel like just a number, so moved 2 years ago & haven't looked back. I also have a Smile account as this pays one of the highest rates of interest and comes with a fee free £500 overdraft.
