General Comments
I bought the Volito 2 as a mouse replacement because I suffer from tendonitis on the backs of both hands. I use the Volito with my left - less badly affected - hand and am sure it has saved that hand from getting worse. Even though I'm right-handed, the Volito makes it amazingly easy to move the cursor accurately around the screen. Best of all, there's no more painful clicking!
If you want to use it for drawing, you can choose to use it in "Pen mode" (i.e. each point on the tablet is a point on the screen), or the way I use it, "mouse mode", where the tablet is used just like a mouse mat. The only tricky thing is double-clicking. You have to tap twice on the tablet or press a button on the pen (the latter is difficult without moving the pen as you press). After 3 or 4 weeks I had no trouble at all with double clicks. I just barely raise the pen beween clicks, which makes it much easier. Right-clicking is very easy using another button on the pen (I use my thumb).
I strongly recommend you try this if you have RSI that makes clicking painful.

Wacom Volito - 11 Jan 2006 - Computeractive
A viable alternative to using a mouse ... Graphics tablets are a useful alternative to a mouse, and the Wacom Volito 2 is a tablet with a usable area of about the same as a quarter of an A4 page.
