Very loving breed. Gets on well with children.

General Comments
My Cavalier King Charles Spaniel sadly passed away recently at the age of 11 1/2 years. He had had a heart murmur since he was around 6, and developed fluid on his lungs 3 years ago. Despite these health problems (which have been very costly) he showed no signs of having them, and had lived an active and normal life right up until he died; which was peacefully in his sleep. He was brilliant with my son aged 18 months, and has been a very faithful loving member of the family.
