Good Points

Good rides, child friendly, excellent day out


Bad Points

Every time we go to Alton Towers at least two of the big rides close due to technical problems, and stay shut. We are always near the front of the queue when the ride shuts, which makes me very unhappy after queuing for 2 hours! The ride maintenance seems very very poor! They need some queue entertainment. What they do have at the moment is never working, and yes, queuing at Alton Towers for 5 hours a day is boring! After most trips, you leave through the main gates feeling disappointed.


General Comments

If another park opened up with the same sort of rides as Alton Towers then Alton Towers would lose at least half their guests, as they only keep them due to the fact that there is nowhere else like Alton Towers, and don't they know it? That is why they don't seem to care what their customers experience is like once they are through the main gates.
