General Comments

What are those people on who have rated Wagamama's restaurant well? I went one Saturday with two other people (hardly a big party). We each had a noodle dish that came out at 10 minute intervals. When I complained about this, I was told that this is the way it happens. Certain chefs cook different dishes so you won't get them together. When I pointed out that this happens in all restaurants, and you do get your food on time, I was ignored. She simply repeated what she told me. I also explained to the manager that eating out is a social thing, but not being able to eat your meal together isn't. This doesn't happen in any culture in the world. Why in Wagamama? This is the way it is, I was told again. To go to a restaurant that is cooking simple dishes where the chefs are not competent enough to work together is worrying. So is the lack of customer service. If this would ever happen elsewhere there would be an apology. Not at Wagamama. If you're dining alone then eat there.

It does state this on the menu, that food comes at different times and to tuck in whenever your food arrives. I think it adds more authenticity to the visit, and the food at Wagamama is so delicious, it's worth the extra wait while your friends are already eating!
