General Comments

I have never once been able to get WAP on my Motorola V220 mobile phone, and I have to keep switching the phone off and on again, as the reception keeps vanishing. The battery goes down to 1 bar the day after charging it fully, it won't send picture messages, and sometimes texts don't send/arrive until a couple of days later! However, I love the cute little handset, and the camera is OK if you don't want anything too flash.

I agree with your comment on WAP and picture messaging (MMS) difficulty. After buying a new phone, it is frustrating to find that some features won't work straight away.

I finally got the WAP/MMS to work by going on to the Vodafone website, and finding instructions for the manual configuration of the Motorola V525. As this phone appears similar to the V220, I followed the instructions to the letter, and the said features worked fine after this.

I think other service providers give similar instructions.

    Hope this is useful.
