Good Points

From a drivers point of view this is an excellent MPV. Handles like it's a small car, and will ease away long distance miles like a bigger car. Good economy, and versatile with seat removal for extra space. Has been reliable in early stages. Suspension seems hard wearing.

Bad Points

Like other MPV`s in this class the rear two seats are (at best) OK if your 5 foot tall with short legs. No boot space if you use all seats. The seats are heavy and not that easy to haul out of the car. Plus, when the seats are out you have to find somewhere to keep them. The 19 TDi SE I use daily has a turbo fault (sensor fault OR fuel delivery fault OR turbo fault). These new turbo diesels can suffer from faults, as can all motors. Heavy on front tyres, and it struggles for traction in the wet out of junctions Leave it at home if it snows! Air Con poor compared to others, and one of the AC front pipes is prone to leaking early on. Had to change a side light bulb up front which involved taking the whole head light unit OUT. Parts are EXPENSIVE.

General Comments

The seat Alhambra 1.9 TDi SE is lovely to drive, and feels nice and solid...well built.
Not sure if I`d like the bills for a second hand one though.

There is an access panel inside the wheelarch cover to enable changing the sidelight bulb. Don't slide the panel too far up otherwise it comes off its runners and you have to remove the arch cover to refit it.
