NELSONS TEETHA - TEETHING CRYSTALS
TEETHING
It's that dreaded time for you and your baby. Sleepless nights, drooling babies and lots and lots of tried and tested products to make this time easier for you, but most of all your baby.
Babies usually start teething around the age of 4 months. Symptoms are usually flushed cheeks, high temperature, crying, dribbling and the likely to bite toys and mummy/daddy's fingers!!
I had been through the teething experience not too long ago with my first born, and before I came across Nelsons Teetha I had tried the usual Calgal, Bongella, teething rings and the suggested method of applying Calpol to the effected area.
Although good, they only seemed to work for a desired time, and my baby didn't seem any happier and the sleeping pattern was totally out of the window.
I needed something better, something to help me and my son get through this time!
I was told about Nelsons teetha, teething crystals that were totally natural and really effective. Great I thought and off I went down to my local Holland and Barrett to buy some.
---THE PRODUCT---
What is Nelsons Teetha?
Nelsons teetha is a homeopathic ready dosed sugar free powder that simply dissolves on your babies tongue. It calms the baby down as well as getting rid of any discomfort.
The active ingredient is Chamomilla.
The packet contains 24 sachets that are really easy to use; you just tear one of and shake it into babies' mouth. I don't think they have any taste, as my little fellas had no trouble taking them.
A dose can be given to your baby every 2hrs, with a maxim of 6 doses in 24hrs.
---DO THEY WORK?---
Yes it does work. This is, by far, the best product I have used for my two boys. After having that sachet I give him 10 mins and the crying stops but most importantly my baby is calm and the pain seems to have gone away. With them being in individual sachets as well they are so easy to pop into your purse or handbag for when you are on the move.
Don't get me wrong I think Calgel and others alike are good, but you just don't seem to get the same effect as you do from Nelsons teething crystals. Also the gels seem sugary to me, even though they state sugar free, I just feel a lot more at ease as a parent using the crystals.
The best thing about using this is that my baby boy (Max) sleeps better than he usually does. Yes I have been tempted to give him one every night, but the whiskey works just as well!!!! (JOKE)
Overall I would highly recommend this product to any parent whose child is going through the teething process.
At an average price of £4.20 a pack, you might think they are a little expensive, but trust me they are worth every penny.
Have a calmer happier baby, give them a go!
You can pick Nelsons Teetha, Teething Crystals, up from most Holland and Barrett, Boots and other major chemist or stores.

Teetha contains lactose, which is a sugar, it is inaccurate to say that Teetha is sugar free. It also contains Xylitol, a sweetner, so you will be accustomising your baby to eating sweet treats.
It 'contains' chamomille in a homeopathic dilution of 6C which means that for every part of chamomille, there are 999, 999, 999, 999 parts other ingredients. Effectively, there is no Chamomille itself in the 'treatment'. When you give Teetha to your baby it probably stops grizzling because it likes the sweetness.
