I have been with the Halifax for about 13 years now. I don't know about you but I think I've waited long enough for an upgrade to my account.I'm always being asked to try back in six months.. I'll let you do the maths as to how many times I've tried. To be honest I don't know what the problem is. It cant be my credit rating as I have credit cards with four other major banks etc and my account has always been credited with more than the £1000 a month Halifax are asking for. To be honest I don't have the time to keep asking them to upgrade the account... so a word of warning, if you find yourself in a Halifax branch trying to open an account, if you don't get the account you went in for.. don't believe the member of staff who tells you to try for an upgrade in six months.Chances are you won't get it...
