Good Points

Very clean, and food very well presented.


Bad Points

Told to sit with other English people for meals. Food got boring after seven days. Everything in Italian - not catered for any other countries!


General Comments

We had a very relaxing enjoyable break on the Nile Delta Cruise, but seven days is too long to spend on this ship. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job, and the boat was immaculate, although I wasn't impressed with maintenance work being carried out with the fumes of paint and floor vanish constantly in the air. The bar staff were very friendly and always liked to talk, which was nice. We found the reception staff a bit unhelpful, but the shop owner was lovely. We had to check out of our cabins at 8.30am, and had an evening flight, but a new cabin was given to us free of charge. There were over 70 guests, but only 6 were British. The rest were Italians. It seemed fine at first, but none of the Italian guests even said hello, and all information, music, and tannoy messages were in Italian. We were also told by staff to sit on the 'English table' for all meals. There was also only 1 night of evening entertainment, which only lasted an hour. The other 6 evenings you had to entertain yourself!!

    I agree with the fact that when we went most of out announcements were made in japenese, but the food and bar staff were so nice.
