Good Points

It was great while it lasted. You pay your $20 and download your music. They keep a running tab for you. Downloads are easy too!


Bad Points

Well...once I got to the point where I only had about $8 left to my credit, they shut it down so I can't even access the site any longer. Meanwhile they ripped me off the remainder of my credit...nice, huh?


General Comments

As i said, I liked it while it lasted, but unfortunately I feel like I've been scammed. It is up to Mp3 Search to win back a more positive opinion from me. They can start by fixing their site . When I try to go to the site, I get an error message saying the site does not exist. Funny, considering it existed the night before.

    I think the review was a little harsh. Every website has down time, its unavoidable... to be honest I only really hear positive things about mp3search.ru, they have many such customers which are very happy... although they have raised their prices up per song, I have now changed to www.allofmp3.com, their facilities are much more up to date and the songs are cheaper. Regarding your money being deducted, I can not argue with the point, but I have never encountered such a thing. Still a good review from yourself. Regards, Peter.

    I also encountered the "website does not exist" memo. But I was patient and waited a week or so, and not only was my remaining credit of $11 still on there, but so were all my previous downloads. I don't think this is a bad site at all, I just think that their servers have failed to cope with demand. Be honest with yourselves, when you tried "googling" mp3search.ru while the site was shut down to see what was happening how many pages could you find on it? Not many at all. Now that the kerfuffle is over, how many pages can you find? Hundreds!! It just shows how many people kicked up a fuss of it being offline, showing you how many people used it in the first place. I think that they've sorted their servers out now and are slowly dealing with demand, and gradually all the newer albums are being restored. All in all I praise mp3search.ru, even if we are funding the russian mafia. (allegedly!!!)

    HI All, mp3search.ru has changed it name to gomusic.ru, normally if you go to the old web address it will redirect you to the new address. username and password are still intact so you should login with no problems. steven.
