Good Points

Location to town, Right on the beach, 2 local shops very close at hand, Loads of excursions available, staff very friendly, actual apartments setting themselves really nicely situated


Bad Points

Acomodation could be classed as 'basic' but it's enough if you're out most of the day, swimming pool quite small but sea is literally 20 metres away.


General Comments

The Elpida Studios themselves were not too close to the resort center and first impressions when arriving were not that great, however, the rooms are basically all you are looking for. Beds, clean and tidy, somewhere to cook/eat and a bathroom with shower, if you're looking for luxury then best not to go to Rhodes at all. The apartments are about a 10 minute walk along a gorgeous beach into the main resort which means that you're not still awake at 4 in the morning should you chose a quiet evening but also they're not too far away from the resorts main focal point.
The holiday reps at the apartments were able to offer a fantastic range of excursions, from 4x4 off road safari around the island for the adventurous to leisurely cruises around the island for the more relaxed holiday maker to water parks for the younger at heart to booze cruises for the party animals, there was indeed something for everyone and no-one needed to be bored.
The hotel bar was very reasonably priced and set right on the beach with it's own sun lounger area for guests, the exchange rate offered was surprisingly very good as it matched the local exchange places.
I honestly cannot think of anything particularly bad or off-putting about this place as it catered for all tastes, very friendly staff, lovely setting and indeed we're probably going to go back again next year.
