Good Points
Good rate of fire, (suprisingly) good accessories.

Bad Points
Not exactly Tokyo Marui.

General Comments
The Double Eagle Electronic M83 is an alright gun. Accuracy's not too great though. For about $40 though, it was excellet. I got mine about 5 months ago and it still works, so don't believe all this about "ohhh...it broke on me in the first hour" that was their own fault. As long as you take care of it, it'll serve you just fine. I recommend .20g bbs and do not use paintballs in it. All paintball pellets will do in this gun is explode inside it. The hop up function just blows them to pieces. Overall a great buy!

i have a double eagle m83 airsoft rifle and have had lots of fun with it ... it breaks down easily for transport so as not to cause probs... though the only prob i have is the end barrel has snapped and i cannot find anywhere on the net where to get a replacement.
nor can i find extra magazines for it so as not having to reload by carrying awkward loading sticks
any help on a website or which mags will fit is appreciated :)

I agree with this review of the M83. I've had mine for about a month, the scope was good but poorly matched to the rifle (Sat too low on the rails so it couldn't see past the front-post), but the laser and flashlight are excelent quality.
And ABBNUBIS, I was searching around awhile back for magazines, and I found a site that sold 2-packs of Double Eagle M83 magazines for some $20... I think I found it on google.

ABBNUBIS, I was searching around google awhile back and stumbled onto a site selling 2-packs of the M83 magazines for about $20, I think. Just google "Double Eagle M83 Magazines" or something.
Dunno how to help on parts, though...
