Rude! Pathetic Service!! Just plain bad!!!
I was on a 8 hr Air France flight frm Cincinnati to Paris. They ran out of vegetarian meals or meals containing NO beef before they got to my seat and I was near the front of the aircraft. I am Hindu and do not eat beef. I do eat other meat and fish but all they had was a beef dish. On explaining to them my situation, the attendant merely shrugged his shoulders telling me that's all he had, take it or leave it. I left it. For the entire 8 hr journey, all I got was a salad and the dessert. I was starving by the time I got to Paris. Paris CDG had nothing better to offer either being renovated and 6am in the morning, nothing was open but the liquor store and the cosmetic store. But that's not the airlines fault, of course. Probably CDG officials think that at 6am in the morning, alcohol and makeup are the 2 most important needs for passengers. It's almost hilarious.
On trying repeatedly to contact any Air France official in the US or India, there has been no luck with either phone calls (they answer the phone and hang up) or emails (it never reaches them). There seems to be no proper address or number to contact customer service.
I would not recommend anyone flying Air France ever again!!!
