Good Points

Fast and a good head turner.


Bad Points

Uses a lot of fuel when you add a racing exhaust.


General Comments

I bought my Aprilla Tuono at the start of the year, and it is great. It is unique, unlike the boring RS 50 that you see everywhere. It is a very smart and fast bike. I have fitted a racing exhaust, bigger carb jet, and a bigger front sprocket, and it will hit 80mph. It has a large powerband for a 2 stroke, and it is a real head turner. Parts are easy to get hold of. It doesn't have any fairing, but if dropped, the air intake pipes and a section near the seat protect it, so if you come off you have to replace a few levers, but none of the body work. The air pipes and seat part are plastic and protect it, and you can also rub scratches off of them. This is an outstanding bike, and the best 50 on the road for me, and anyone who would ride it.
