Small and compact with a modern look. Easy to operate with good battery life. Very good quality pictures - choice of pixels. Easy to carry around. Likes the info-lithium characteristic. Good choice of pixels and other functions such as slides. Like the video operation as well.
Could be a little fiddly when operating the minute buttons if you have 'big' fingers. Expensive to buy additional batteries and memory sticks and other accessories. The inclusive memory stick is too basic. Shop around either inland or abroad. No case included.
This little marvel from Sony is a real joy to use and carry around. The DSC-P1 performs well (probably as well as other more expensive digital cameras). Its primary minus point is the high initial outlay in respect of purchasing additional batteries, memory sticks or other equipments such as a case. Highly Recommended, though.
