General Comments
I was rather sceptical about buying a LiteOn LVW-5045 DVD recorder having read several mixed reviews, however I am delighted with the machine. It was very easy to set up and use, and the quality of the recordings on HQ down to LP is impressive.
I like the ability to record from disk to hard drive as well as from hard drive to disk. I'm also impressed with the user friendly menu system, accessed using the remote control.
Unlike some other companies, LiteOn appear to be interested in improving their product, and publish firmware updates on their web site which can be downloaded onto a CD and loaded into the machine.
In my opinion, all of this, along with their 2 year warranty, make the 5045 a good buy.
