General Comments

I have ga-7vrx, amd ath 1800+ t-bred(1.53ghz), and samsung 512mb pc2700 ram. Regardless of multiplier setting(on board) I could not speed up the fsb anywhere near 166 without serious problems ie no post no boot no restart etc. Therefore my pc2700 ram capable of 333mhz must run at 266 and my cpu can only be bumped up to 2000+(1.67ghz) (using just the multiplier set at 12.5). Maybe I misunderstood the meaning of KT333(duh). Also there is major system instability when running the ram at CL2 so had to revert back to CL2.5. Basicly unless you want to run everything at some default (slow) setting then you will eventually run into trouble. Bottom line is this board will be replaced with one more capable of unlocking the true potential of my cpu and ram not to mention live up to its own specs. :(

WHen I used the Corsair Value Select PC2700 that problem cleared up, the FSB apparently was stable but the memory kept crashing it. Hindsight leads me to believe it's the hotdogs. Those bits of meat were everywhere and when they overheated, it made an oiley mess in the memory slots, on the video card, and ultimately shrank till the bun was too large. I was pretty hungry too. AT least the color of the PCB contrasts nicely with the mustard, yet overclocking wouldn't burn off the dog residue and so I ended up having to replace the board with an Asus, which is immune to this sort of problem.
