Exceptional clarity - can hear every breath (at top volume - can be turned down when you get more confident!).
Cordless parent unit allows you to go out and put the car in the garage without losing contact with baby unit (good range).
Talk button means parent unit can talk to 'upstairs' not that useful for the baby but great for getting husband to bring a clean bib down.
Baby unit can work form batteries - useful if baby goes to sleep away from bedroom e.g. in car on drive.
As the units are digital you do not get any white noise (static) or squeaking.
Belt clip detaches from unit when worn on belt (if you bend over) and unit crashes to floor.
We have not used the music or lights functions but they do work well.
The digital units cause our BT digital phones to lose contact with their bases (irritating beeping from phone then base at any time of day or night). This can be minimised by keeping the phone and unit as far apart as possible.
We would definitely buy BT Digital Baby Monitors again and have recommended them to friends. They are not the cheapest around and the 'non plus' model would probably have done everything we needed. It has been reassuring to see the bedroom temperature ahead of bedtime to adjust bedding accordingly (particularly when on holiday). Monitors come with handy travel case.
12 months in and still one of our best buys!
