General Comments
I brought some boots from the Barratt store a few months ago and they hurt above the ankle so I went back to the shop and was advised to let them give a little...like you do. A month passed and they didn't give in, and the rings on my legs were very painful, the boots were still cutting into me and I couldn't even wear sandles because the marks were so horrible!. Naturally I went back and was advised to give them another month....I explained that if I wore them any longer I was sure they would not take them back but was reassured that that wouldn't be the case. Another month passed and I went to the shop and was told to complain to customer services which I did, I was told to send the boots into Barratt's in Bradford. I wasn't sure how they would assess the damage to my legs without seeing them, but the customer manager insisted, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I advised the customer manager Maxine to overlook the condition, as I HAD WORN them, but they were hurting me and were not fit to be boots. Instead I got a letter saying the condition of them beggars belief - excuse me - what beggars belief is the rings on my lower legs due to your boots and not to mention your appalling customer service! Needless to say I will never shop at Barratt's again !! Stay away from Barratt's , rather pay a bit more and have shoes you can actually wear!.

I've been in there loads of times and its the ONLY place in my experience that I can actually find someone who is WILLING and happy to help! In barrats the people are nice, and I can always count on them telling the truth. I tried on a pair of shoes which were way too big, and really expensive and I LOVED them. The sales advisor could have said get them they look fine, but instead she offered a cheaper more narrow alternative. And the cashiers always seem to be smiling and say 'have a good day' rather than having the shopping just left on the counter - they give it to you in a good manner. Little things like asking 'would you like the receipt in the bag madam?' really goes a long way. Well it does with me anyway! I would definitely go back there, their shoes are awesome!
