Quality materials.
Removable inlay (glued in in previous model).
Looks good.
Football shoe in rugby disguise.
non-sanctioned studs.
Contrary to the previous boot, Adidas Flanker Rugby Boots is made of real leather (the upper material of my old flankers lasted half a season before dissolving into disgusting little flakes. Duck tape stemmed the process a bit).
Again, it's not a rugby boot, but another modified football boot. When will they get that rugby players (especially forwards for whom the flanker is built) prefer more space in the toe area to the slim, footcrunching design needed to control a football? Especially heavier players with wider feet might be better off with a CCC boot.
Why can't they put on IRB sanctioned, all aluminium studs to begin with? They always put those blasted, flimsy half plastic studs on. On your very first game, the referee will make you change them anyway.
