28 shots, power is good for a co2 pistol, looks nice
Unreliable, poor build quality, not built to last
I bought the normal Anics Skif at first, and found that the gun looked nice. I then loaded 28 shots and began firing. I found the power of the pistol a little disappointing after reading reviews about its good power. After around 500 shots, my Skif was losing power at an alarming rate. I tried different Co2 canisters but nothing helped. The gun had lost so much power it couldn't pierce a beer can. I had it chrono tested, and it was firing at 0.3 ftlb, YES 0.3 ftlb, NOT 3 ftlb. I then took it back to the shop I got it from. The man in the gun shop then gave me the Skif Brocock F1. I then took it home and loaded a co2 canister to find a hissing sound. The gun was leaking Co2. I then tried 2 more Co2 canisters, and the same was happening. The gun was faulty. The man from the gun shop then got in touch with Brocock, who import the gun. They were very helpful and delivered a new F1 to my door and picked the faulty one up. So far I have had no problems with this gun.
The power of the F1 is reasonable for a pistol, and is better than the shorter normal Skif, but nothing special. It can be fairly accurate. I have also had no problems with the magazine jambing, as long as the correct pellets are used and it is loaded properly. I can't see this pistol lasting 6 months, as from my experience from the 2 faulty ones, I have had, I feel it isn't well made, and I wouldn't advise anyone to get one at all.
