Bad Points

Split level room was dark, unclean and musty. Whole place was scruffy.


General Comments

The Pythagorian Anthis Studio Apartments are 5 minutes away from the airport, close to unkept land. 30 minutes from town, and 15 minutes from the beach.
As soon as I arrived at this place I was so disappointed, as it did not reflect the brochure description. When we were taken to our room we walked in and walked straight out, and refused to stay. The room was a split level room, and it was dark, dirty, and very very small. The room leading out of the studio to the corridor had been blocked by a small table and chairs, and had had toilet paper put in the keyhole, so no access. The shower room/toilet looked out into the kitchen area. The room smelt of urine and mildew. I have visited Greece for 10 years, and I am aware that the rooms are simple, but this was a disgrace!
Pythagorion is however gorgeous, and one of the favourite places I have visited in Greece. We went around the rest of the Island in a hire car and it was breathtaking.
