Nokia's are always easy and straight forward to use. FM radio was a plus at the time and the look and feel was stlish - now outdated though.
Bad Points
Unreliable, prone to switching itself off, poor battery life and awkward navigation key in the centre of the key pad.
General Comments
I first received the Nokia 6230 as an upgrade back in September 2004. It was the first time in 8 yrs I had had a Nokia but I had heard such good things about their useability that I decided this was the phone for me. The first phone I received started switching itself off after just 2 weeks. I am now on my 4th version of this phone and have finally managed to exchange it altogether for a Motorola V3 as I am giving up Nokia's altogether now after a catalogue of problems. The second phone went completely dead one day (after having the usual switching itself off randomly problem) and never regained consciousness. The third phone began scrolling bizarre gobbledygook something like this.... GHWUFNFOS*£KSJF174850KFBKAYHN$63**KAJHFIO across the screen, then eventually it to collapsed and never came back to life. My most recent I received as a replacement a week ago, and after it turned itself off during an important business call, and then again when scrolling through the phonebook... I give up!
