Good Points
Oh dear oh dear...Please please help me! My dear iccle F reg xr3i cabriolet has just been written off :( I have just smashed in the front end of it..although it is repairable..(I think). It will need a new bonnet, headlights, radiator and a bumper. This happened 2 years ago when I drove into the back of a van and I was so heartbroken at the time and to see history repeating itself well I just dont know what to do. Shall I scrap it? I know what your thinking, let it go and move on. I've had this car over 4 years now, passed every mot first time and I've rarely replaced any parts on it, oh apart from when the cam belt slipped off by two teeth and I drove it like that for 5 months and it still worked! and a new downpipe and thats it! it's mot has now ran out, it's smashed up and needs a respray...is it really worth it? The engine has 78.000 on the clock and the hood is it excellent condition. Please help me :(
Bad Points
The brakes let me down this time :( and it's in about 10 pieces parked unloved outside my house :(
General Comments
The Ford Escort XR3i is possibly the best car I have ever bought for £800 (5 years ago) Is it time to let go?

No don't scrap it, xr3is are very rare these days and it is well worth repairing it, if it is your pride and joy.
